Staff

Smith Economics Group, Ltd. employs a team of top-notch, highly-skilled professionals to provide support services, at no extra charge to you.  We pride ourselves on our diligence and hard work to ensure that your experience in working with us is highly satisfying and problem free.

Our team consists of eight full-time and additional part-time individuals.  They provide support as economics research analysts and as administrative support staff to assist with matters relating to economic research; expert witness retentions; scheduling depositions, trials, conference calls, etc.; as well as taking care of bookkeeping and related matters.  Further, when necessary, we can conduct interviews with related parties in several foreign languages, including Spanish, Chinese, French, etc. Except in the event of unusual circumstances, all support services are provided at no additional cost.

Case Evaluation and Economic Research

  • Stan V. Smith,  Ph.D. (Stan@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-1551) consults clients regarding economic issues, prepares economic reports, and delivers expert testimony at deposition and trial;
  • Stephanie Uhl (Stephanie@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-9985) does economic research, gathers case data, tracks report timetable requirements, assists in the preparation of economic reports, and manages the distribution and production of all reports;
  • Amber Conner (Amber@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-9916) does economic research, gathers case data, tracks report timetable requirements, and assists in the preparation of economic reports;
  • Angela Endres (Angela@SmtihEconomics.com; 312-943-5161) does economic research, gathers case data, tracks report timetable requirements, and assists in the preparation of economic reports;
  • Brian Ebling (Brian@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-5101) assists does economic research, gathers case data, tracks report timetable requirements, and assists in the preparation of economic reports;

Scheduling

  • Kelly Green (Kelly@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-9934) schedules Stan’s depositions, trials, meetings and phone calls and follows up with clients on the case status;
  • Ruth Rembert (Ruth@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-5145) assists Kelly in scheduling and is Dr. Smith’s personal assistant;

Administration

  • Martha Burla (Martha@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-5191) provides administrative support regarding new case materials, documents responsive to interrogatory requests, and other case-related inquiries;

Billing

  • Kay Herr (Kay@SmithEconomics.com; 312-943-1551) manages the office, generates invoicing for clients, resolves billing issues, and applies payments to clients’ accounts.
